White House Correspondents’ Dinner Attendees Accosted By Pro-Palestine Protesters

Pro-Palestine demonstrators accosted celebrities and journalists attending the White House correspondents’ dinner at the Washington Hilton tossing fake blood and yelling obscenities as they entered and exited the venue. George Washington University Law School Professor Jonathan Turley pointed out the protestors’ inflammatory actions on social media.

Videos shared online show demonstrators chanting anti-Biden slogans and yelling “Shame on you!” at attendees. Just the News reported that attendees had to walk through a gauntlet of protestors to enter the venue. Conservative commentator Katie Pavlich approached the protestors who began chanting “You’re not welcome here” in response.

Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner took to X formerly known as Twitter to condemn the demonstrators’ actions. “Shame on the hundreds of Terrorist sympathizers and the Hamas lovers outside last nights [White House correspondents’ dinner] that were far from peaceful. There is no place for you or your vitriolic antisemitism in this country. Get the hell out — we don’t tolerate terrorism here,” Jenner wrote.

Other images from the protest appeared to show demonstrators waving money in front of attendees a common antisemitic trope according to Just the News. The reasoning behind this action is unknown.

Inside the venue President Joe Biden mocked his presumptive 2024 challenger former President Donald Trump’s age while assuring attendees of his own health and vitality. The president also took several jabs at himself recounting a story about falling off a bike in Delaware.
