Anti-Israel Protestors Demonstrate Outside WH Correspondents Dinner

Joe Biden received a rough welcome outside the annual White House correspondents’ dinner in Washington, D.C., Saturday evening. Anti-Israel protesters shouted and demonstrated in a threatening way in their support of Palestinian claims for independence and at least passively in favor of Hamas terrorists. The crowd was seen angrily chanting slogans like “F— Joe Biden” as the presidential motorcade arrived at the venue.

As shown in news videos, attendees had to walk through a crowd of protestors to get inside the Washington Hilton Hotel.

Fox News commentators Jonathan Turley and Katie Pavlich were among the media members harassed by the crowd. Some were heard yelling, “You’re not welcome here,” and “Why don’t you cover the genocide in Gaza?”

Caitlyn Jenner was among those singled out by the angry mob. Jenner later posted on X, formerly Twitter, “Shame on the hundreds of Terrorist sympathizers and the Hamas lovers outside last nights #WHCD that were far from peaceful. There is no place for you or your vitriolic antisemitism in this country. Get the hell out — we don’t tolerate terrorism here.”

Code Pink, a notorious far-left activist organization, organized part of the protests. Its members assembled in Kalorama Park next to the Hilton. On its website, Code Pink notified potential attendees that it was gathering on Saturday to publicly accuse the media of “endorsing the White House’s support of Israel.”

Code Pink also posted: “The White House Correspondents’ Dinner, traditionally a symbol of journalistic integrity and freedom, has now become a platform that celebrates and endorses the administration’s actions. The United States media perpetuates anti-Palestinian narratives and ignores Israeli war crimes. The Correspondents’ Dinner is nothing more than a celebration and endorsement of the administration’s actions. That is not journalism. That is complicity.”

Many in the crowd on Saturday beat drums and rhythmically chanted, “Shame on you!” at the guests decked out in formal wear entering the exclusive event. Protestors were seen wearing Palestinian garb and waving the Palestinian flag.

Saturday’s disturbance is part of a larger movement in recent weeks of widespread and sometimes violent anti-Israel protests around the nation, often focusing on the nation’s elite universities. Columbia University in New York City, the University of Southern California and the University of Texas at Austin have all seen unrest and numerous arrests in recent days.
