A Los Angeles woman is livid after a leaked video appeared to show her four-year-old son being violently pushed and pinned to the floor. The just-revealed incident unfolded at Kinder Kids Christian preschool on March 14.
The footage showed the unidentified daycare employee grabbing the child’s arms and then pushing both wrists to the floor and holding them there. Then the worker grabbed the boy by both ankles and carried him dangling upside down
BrieAnn Battle told ABC 7 that she was “distraught.”
She explained after another worker at the preschool — not the owner — exposed the video to her, “Nobody wants to see their child being manhandled like that.”
As any concerned parent would, Battle met with the daycare owner and planned to give the “benefit of the doubt.” She said she intended to engage the owner in a “mother-to-mother, woman-to-woman” conversation to learn more about what happened.
Battle said she understands that sometimes things “do get out of control.”

The owner proceeded to present another view of the disturbing scene. “The owner-operator showed me the clip from when she took him out into the foyer, and that’s when he was giving her a lot of activity so she thought that was going to be, I guess, a better angle.”
That video did not show Battle’s son being roughly handled by the worker. The furious mother said she believed the footage was an attempt to cover up what actually happened back in March.
The mother reported that the owner denied anything wrong occurred. Battle called the response “sickening.” She added, “How dare…you know, how dare you? And then she avoided accountability, so it turned very criminal.”
The employee in the shocking video then resigned, though her troubles are likely far from over. Battle filed a police report over the incident and hired a lawyer to pursue legal action.
She explained, “For that matter, she doesn’t need to be taking care of anybody else’s kids, and her license needs to be revoked. She needs to go to jail for this.”
