RFK Jr. Criticizes Biden’s Debate Performance And Leadership

In the wake of President Joe Biden’s controversial debate performance, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. voiced serious concerns about Biden’s leadership and the state of American democracy. Speaking on “Fox & Friends,” Kennedy suggested that Biden may not be the one truly making decisions in the White House. “He does not seem to be the person who’s making the decisions in the White House,” Kennedy stated. “I think our government is being run by anonymous men in lanyards, and it’s scary.”

Kennedy, unable to join the debate due to CNN’s qualifications, held his own event on social media. He answered the same questions in real-time, criticizing the debate for failing to address critical issues. “This whole spectacle was a sad story for democracy,” Kennedy remarked to host Lawrence Jones. He emphasized that the debate avoided discussing essential matters like housing affordability and inflation, which he believes are vital for the American middle class.

Kennedy pointed out the struggles faced by younger generations in achieving homeownership, a cornerstone of the American dream. “This is the first generation in American history who’s going to be worse off than their parents,” he stated. Highlighting his own family’s challenges, he added, “My kids are very, very privileged compared to other children in this country. This is a crisis. The American middle class is the greatest economic engine in the history of mankind… it works because we had them in our homes.”

The independent candidate argued that transitioning from a society of homeowners to one of renters is detrimental to the country’s economic stability. “We’re going from a society of owners to a society of renters, and this is a crisis for our country and neither of these candidates talked about how they are going to deal with inflation,” Kennedy asserted.

Kennedy’s critique of Biden extended to his fitness for office. When asked if Biden is fit to be president, Kennedy responded, “I don’t think so.” He expressed concerns about Biden’s policies leading the nation towards potential nuclear conflicts with Russia and China, allied now with Iran. “We’re closer to nuclear conflict today with the Russians and China… which has never happened before. That’s almost exclusively because of policies of the Biden administration,” Kennedy argued.

On social media, Kennedy denounced the debate’s superficiality, calling it a “fourth-grade level” discussion and advocating for a national “reset.”
