UFO ‘Mother Ships’ Challenge US Military, White House Briefed

Reports of UFOs near U.S. military bases are fueling concerns within the Pentagon, especially as some sightings involve larger “mother ships” deploying smaller craft. Former Pentagon security official Chris Mellon has shared new insights into these incidents, which occurred near Langley Air Force Base and Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works facility.

In December 2023, UFOs with flashing lights were spotted over Langley for more than two weeks. These craft, flying at high speeds, penetrated restricted airspace without any effort to remain concealed. Mellon told the Daily Mail that similar sightings took place in California, near facilities critical to U.S. defense.

Retired Gen. Mark Kelly spoke about drones seen near Naval Station Norfolk, the world’s largest naval base. Despite their presence near high-security areas, federal law prohibits shooting down drones unless they pose an immediate threat.

The mysterious encounters led to a series of White House meetings, with President Joe Biden briefed on the ongoing situation. The Pentagon has struggled to counter the drones, and reports from Edwards Air Force Base indicate that uncrewed aerial systems continue to evade detection.

Mellon suggested that the UFOs could be foreign drones, possibly from China, but acknowledged that their behavior and resistance to countermeasures remain unexplained.
