Tom Homan Vows To Deport All Illegal Immigrants Under Trump Administration

In an interview on Fox News, Tom Homan, former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), outlined a strong stance on illegal immigration, declaring that no illegal alien in the U.S. would be exempt from deportation under President Donald Trump’s next term in office. Homan, recently named the border czar, made it clear that the priority would be the removal of individuals posing a threat to national security and public safety.

Homan’s remarks came in response to a growing push by Democrats in sanctuary cities to block immigration enforcement actions. He criticized the idea of allowing dangerous criminals to remain in communities, arguing that policies protecting illegal immigrants ultimately harm the very people they aim to protect. “What politician, whether you’re a mayor or governor, is saying, ‘No, I want public safety threats to remain in my community’?” Homan asked, calling such ideas nonsensical.

The former ICE chief also warned against offering amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, stating that doing so would only perpetuate the crisis at the border. Homan argued that the lack of consequences for illegal crossings encourages more people to enter the U.S. unlawfully. He emphasized that amnesty would send the wrong message and result in even more illegal immigration.

While speaking on the legal aspects of immigration, Homan made it clear that crossing the border illegally is a crime.

“Every illegal alien that crossed that border committed a crime,” he said, adding that individuals who have been ordered to leave the country will be held accountable. Homan reiterated that due process would be respected, but when the law calls for deportation, the individual will be removed.

The Trump administration’s tough stance on immigration is expected to continue under Homan’s leadership, with the border czar pledging to prioritize the removal of illegal immigrants, regardless of their criminal background or status in the U.S.
