A fiery exchange took place between White House senior adviser Stephen Miller and CNN’s Brianna Keilar as they debated the Trump administration’s push to crack down on illegal immigrants benefiting from government programs.
Keilar pressed Miller on whether the administration was using IRS data to investigate illegal immigrants fraudulently receiving child tax credits. Miller responded that all cases of financial fraud would be fully prosecuted and that illegal immigrants would not receive special treatment.

Miller stated that many illegal immigrants have used fraudulent Social Security numbers to claim government benefits, calling it a major problem that needed to be addressed. He insisted that such crimes should not be ignored and that all offenders should face consequences.
Keilar questioned whether the administration would provide details on the number of cases under investigation. Miller did not share specific data but confirmed that enforcement efforts were underway and that fraudulent claims would be handled through the appropriate legal channels.

As tensions rose, Miller accused CNN of failing to highlight the scale of the fraud problem. He argued that cracking down on illegal immigrants exploiting taxpayer funds would create more opportunities for American workers.
Before the segment concluded, Miller took a direct shot at Keilar, questioning whether she was truly neutral on the issue. Keilar quickly moved on to the next topic, leaving Miller’s remarks unaddressed.
