RFK Jr. Claims US Policies Are ‘Mass Poisoning’ Children During Sen. Johnson’s Health Panel

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. issued a grave warning about the impact of U.S. food and health policies on children during a panel hosted by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI). Speaking on health and nutrition, Kennedy accused the government of allowing harmful practices that endanger public health, particularly for children.

Kennedy pointed out that 70% of food stamp funds are used to purchase processed foods, which he says are contributing to rising rates of childhood obesity and other health problems. He also criticized the government for providing far more subsidies to tobacco than to fruits and vegetables, noting that tobacco receives eight times as much support.

The panel, titled “American Health & Nutrition: A Second Opinion,” featured various experts discussing issues like the influence of Big Pharma, obesity rates, and the failure of regulatory agencies. Kennedy argued that agencies like the FDA, CDC, and USDA have been compromised by corporate interests.

Kennedy also took aim at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), claiming that the agency allows scientists to profit from the products they develop in partnership with pharmaceutical companies. He argued that this conflict of interest undermines public trust in health agencies.

Calling for major reforms, Kennedy said, “We can change all of this very quickly, but it starts with addressing the corruption.” He emphasized that the current system is failing American families, particularly children, who are most vulnerable to these harmful policies.
