A Minnesota school district is searching for a new assistant superintendent who will be charged with a unique task. They are to investigate the “role of Whiteness” in the system’s schools and “actively listen for both spoken and unspoken racial concerns.”
The St. Louis Park Public School District pays between $134K and $201K per year for the position. Besides studying the evil of Whiteness, the person selected is to oversee “student management/discipline.”
Fox News Digital reported the opening is for a candidate who will work with rulemaking at the state and federal levels concerning proposed rules and laws “impacting teaching and learning for each student.”

The potential assistant superintendent must be “open to feedback regarding their own racial blind spots” and “seek multiple racial perspectives.”
They are also expected to “cultivate a culture of accountability for system racial equity transformation.”
These special qualifications are demanded under the knowledge, skills and abilities section of the job listing. They are to be supportive of the superintendent’s goal to “create and communicate anti-racist structures and systems.”
The system in recent days hired a new superintendent, and she appears to be aligned with its goals.
School board Chairman Colin Cox announced Dr. Carla Hines as the new leader. “Her educational leadership, dedication to student academic success, and vision for racial equity transformation is impressive and I’m confident she’ll lead our district with integrity and passion.”
The district’s schools educate over 4500 students. A slight majority are White, roughly 20% are Black and nearly 13% are Hispanic. Roughly 18% are economically disadvantaged and an estimated 8% are English language learners.
The laser focus on “equity” comes despite the fact that only 34% of the district’s high school students are proficient in math and 58% reach that level in reading.
The middle school numbers are 37% and 52% respectively.
Parents across the nation rose up in recent years to oppose woke indoctrination of public school students. Leftist programs such as critical race theory resulted in school district meetings packed with parents demanding that their children be educated, not preached to.
