Border Patrol agents are warning of widespread resignations if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the presidency in November. Frustrated by the policies of the Biden-Harris administration, agents have described the past four years as a nightmare. “I’m not doing this … again,” one agent told the New York Post, while others are making retirement plans if Harris is elected.
Agents argue that their jobs have been made “inefficient” by policies that prioritize releasing criminals after they cross the border, making it difficult for them to do their work effectively. The National Border Patrol Union recently endorsed Donald Trump, warning that Harris’ election would lead to chaos in communities across the country.

The situation has contributed to low morale among agents, according to Yuma Border Patrol Chief Chris Clem. Clem criticized Harris for using recent campaign ads to portray herself as a champion of border security, saying that her policies have done the exact opposite.
Illegal immigration has surged under the Biden-Harris administration, with more than 10 million people crossing the border since 2021. Additionally, an estimated 1.7 million “gotaways” have crossed undetected, adding to concerns about the administration’s ability to control the border.
Per @OANN, Border Patrol agents predict MASS resignations if Kamala Harris is elected president.

Harris has released advertisements in recent weeks highlighting her role as a border state prosecutor and her support for increasing Border Patrol agents. However, many agents remain unconvinced, fearing another four years of policies they believe undermine their efforts to secure the border.
