A clip of Arizona Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake from a Super Bowl “prayer meeting” has gone viral, where the conservative firebrand was heard asking God for strength and blessings to get through this tumultuous time.
Lake’s viral prayer came during a “prayer meeting” with Christian singer Sean Feucht, former worship leader at Bethel Church and founder of the Let Us Worship movement.
“I’m just gonna pray a humble prayer just of gratitude,” Lake began.
“Almighty God, we don’t say thank you enough and I think the greatest prayer is just a thank you — thank you for placing us here at this moment,” the conservative Senate candidate continued. “We know that when we’re here we feel pain, we feel struggle, we worry — but when we cease to worry and we put our faith in you, which is where it lies, we know that you will get us through.”
“I have faith in you, Sean does, I know everyone listening does, and just make sure you strengthen that for us so that when we have those dark moments, we remember you are with us… Your hand is on our shoulder. You had a hand in creating this great nation and we are filled with gladness that you placed us here at this moment,” Lake added.
She then asked God to provide what is necessary to continue fighting for America, asking Him for “all of your grace, all of your blessings, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Lake, a former news anchor and former Arizona gubernatorial candidate, also spoke with Feucht about the controversy surrounding her actions at the Super Bowl. She has been celebrated by conservatives and condemned by the left because she chose to stand during the National Anthem, but refused to stand during the so-called “Black National Anthem” — an attempt by the radical left to push racial division at sports events by suggesting that Black Americans are not represented by the National Anthem and thus need their own song.

“I didn’t realize that apparently, I did something that made me trend at the Super Bowl… I sat down, but stood up for the American National anthem, and apparently, that was controversial,” she told Feucht.
“If you’re not controversial right now you’re probably not doing it right,” she added.
