Hungary’s Orban Calls Out Foreign Influence Behind Serbia’s Political Chaos

Hungarian President Viktor Orban has blamed foreign-backed forces for political turmoil in Serbia, warning that nationalist governments in Europe are being targeted for destabilization. His comments, posted on X, accused globalists of attempting to undermine leadership in Serbia, Hungary and Slovakia.

The Serbian Parliament was thrown into disorder when opposition lawmakers ignited smoke bombs and disrupted legislative proceedings. Orban pointed to the event as an example of how far globalist factions will go to create chaos and pressure nationalist leaders. He declared his full support for Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, condemning the opposition’s tactics as an attack on democracy.

Orban argued that globalist influence in Europe has grown more aggressive after losing control in Washington, a likely reference to President Donald Trump’s election. He suggested that, having failed to maintain dominance in the U.S., these factions have turned their focus to countries resisting Brussels’ authority.

Brussels has frequently clashed with Orban over his refusal to conform to EU policies. His government has rejected regulations from Brussels that he argues threaten Hungary’s independence. Similar conflicts have emerged in Serbia, where Vucic has resisted outside influence over his government’s policies.

The Hungarian leader has aligned himself with Trump, supporting the former U.S. president’s approach to border security, foreign policy and resistance to globalist economic policies. Orban has also been critical of the Biden administration’s role in escalating the war between Russia and Ukraine.

With nationalist leaders like Orban and Vucic refusing to yield to foreign-backed opposition, the divide between Brussels and independent European governments is becoming more pronounced.
