Elon Musk Warns US Could Face ‘One-Party Rule’ If Harris Wins Election

Billionaire Elon Musk has issued a stark warning about the dangers of one-party rule in the United States if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the upcoming presidential election. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Musk expressed concerns that Harris and her allies could turn the country into a national version of California, a state he has criticized for its entrenched Democratic control.

Musk highlighted how California’s one-party dominance has led to a regulatory environment that stifles businesses and innovation. “If the machine behind the Kamala puppet wins this election, the whole country will be far worse than California is today,” Musk warned. He pointed out that in California, businesses can move out of the state to escape harsh regulations, but there would be no such escape on a national level.

Musk’s concerns go beyond regulations. He believes that Harris and her allies aim to create a system where Republicans stand little chance of winning future elections, similar to California’s political landscape. He argued that key Democratic backers, including unions and class-action lawyers, are working to entrench their influence by writing laws that favor their interests.

He also suggested that Democrats are not hiding their broader ambitions to secure one-party control across the country. According to Musk, this could involve packing the Supreme Court, granting statehood to Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, and allowing millions of illegal immigrants to stay in the country—all steps that would tilt the political balance in favor of Democrats.

Musk, who has relocated Tesla and SpaceX headquarters to Texas, has taken significant steps to distance his businesses from California’s policies. His recent decision to move X’s headquarters out of San Francisco underscores his belief that California’s one-party dominance could soon affect the entire nation.
