Elon Musk has suggested that billionaires supporting Kamala Harris in her 2024 presidential bid are doing so out of fear that Donald Trump, if re-elected, will expose the Jeffrey Epstein client list. In a conversation with Tucker Carlson, Musk said that powerful individuals, including some of the wealthiest elites, are concerned that a Trump presidency could lead to the release of the names tied to Epstein’s criminal activities.
“I think part of why Kamala is getting so much support is that if Trump wins, that Epstein client list is going to become public,” Musk told Carlson during the interview, which aired on X, the social media platform Musk owns. He went on to name venture capitalist Reid Hoffman and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates as two billionaires allegedly worried about the list being revealed.
Carlson agreed with Musk’s assessment, saying that he could easily tell which individuals are anxious about the potential fallout. Musk suggested that these same people have been preaching to ordinary Americans while hiding their involvement in questionable dealings.
Trump has promised that, if elected, he would release the client list, which has been kept sealed under legal protections. Some of the names on the list are victims or falsely accused individuals, complicating the matter.
Musk has formally endorsed Trump for 2024 and has even joined him at campaign events. Trump’s pledge to expose the Epstein client list remains a key promise of his platform.
