Dangerous Swatting Sprees Aim To Intimidate Conservative Voices In US

A series of menacing swatting incidents has targeted conservative media personalities across the U.S. this week, raising alarms among their supporters. These malicious calls dispatch police to homes under false pretenses, aiming to disrupt and intimidate. FBI Director Kash Patel has promised to work with local law enforcement to root out those responsible.

The Gateway Pundit shed light on the scope, reporting, “Several conservative figures including Nick Sortor, Gunther Eagleman, and Shawn Farash have been swatted over the last couple of days.” Journalist Nick Sortor faced a personal assault when swatters not only hit his home but also fabricated a violent scenario involving his father to rattle his family.

Patel’s response carries a sense of urgency for conservative fans. The Post Millennial quoted him saying, “This isn’t about politics — weaponizing law enforcement against ANY American is not only morally reprehensible but also endangers lives, including those of our officers.” His March 14 vow signals a firm stand against the intimidation.

Radio host Joe Pags felt the threat up close on March 12 when a deceptive call brought police to his door. The Daily Mail noted, “Conservative radio host Joe ‘Pags’ Pagliarulo revealed video footage of a man outside his home with a rifle.” He’s now calling on Patel to investigate this wave of harassment.

Chase Geiser of InfoWars endured a relentless barrage. The Daily Mail reported, “Infowars host Chase Geiser posted video of police putting him in handcuffs after a person called 911 pretending to be the media personality.” Two swatting attempts within 12 hours, the second striking before 2 a.m. on March 14, underscore the aggression.

Gunther Eagleman faced a similar scare with a fake “hostage situation” report. The Post Millennial stated, “Gunther Eagleman said he was also the victim of a swatting attack.” The Gateway Pundit added, “Catturd and Gunther’s brother Mike were also swatted this morning,” showing the broader reach of these tactics.

Shawn Farash, a Trump impersonator, and “Catturd,” swatted for the fourth time, also felt the sting. The Daily Mail cited an FBI official noting at least 10 swatting cases on March 13 alone.
