Charlamagne Tha God Criticizes Biden, Predicts Trump Victory

Radio host Charlamagne tha God played a passive role in the 2020 presidential campaign when his interview with Joe Biden resulted in a viral quote from the Democratic nominee insisting that anyone unwilling to support his candidacy “ain’t Black.”

Ahead of November’s general election, which is shaping up to be a rematch of the 2020 race, the host is taking a more active interest in the outcome, starting with his recent statement of regret for supporting Biden four years ago.

During a CNN interview earlier this month, he lamented putting his “name and reputation on the line” with his endorsement.

“And when my listeners feel like he didn’t deliver, they come back to me and they say, ‘Hey man, you’re the one who told us to vote for Joe Biden. You’re the one who told us to vote for Kamala Harris.’ So, you know, I care about my listeners and what my listeners think.”

Although he maintained his long-standing opposition to former President Donald Trump, he noted at the time that Biden has been a “s—ty elected official.”

During a subsequent interview, Charlamagne went even deeper in his critical analysis of the Biden administration and the performance of Democrats in general — particularly on the subject of illegal immigration.

Acknowledging that the transportation of undocumented migrants from GOP-led states to so-called “sanctuary cities” dominated by Democratic officials has been an “effective” strategy, he said that it opened those Democrats up to claims of hypocrisy.

“Clearly it was effective because it made a lot of those Democrats start singing a different tune,” he said. “And, I mean, the voters see that. The voters see that. So what does that look like to the voter? Just on the surface, just on the surface it looks like Republicans were right about the issue and Democrats got it wrong.”

As things currently stand, Charlamagne predicted that Trump would probably beat Biden in a head-to-head race.

He placed the blame for Biden’s likely defeat on the president himself.

“So he’s just never been a good candidate, ever, like in the history of life!” the host concluded. “Just look at the record of the times he ran before. I just don’t think he’s a good messenger in any way, shape or form. I just don’t think he inspires people. These candidates have to inspire you.”
