Billionaire Bill Gates Donates $50 Million To Pro-Harris Super PAC

Billionaire and advocate for leftist international institutions Bill Gates has reportedly donated $50 million to a super PAC supporting Vice President Kamala Harris’ bid for the presidency, according to a report from the New York Times. Gates, the founder of Microsoft, is one of the wealthiest individuals in the world and is known for his involvement in global health and environmental initiatives.

The donation was made to Future Forward USA Action, the nonprofit arm of the Democratic super PAC Future Forward, although Gates has not publicly confirmed the exact amount. In a statement to the New York Times, Gates said, “I support candidates who demonstrate a clear commitment to improving health care, reducing poverty, and fighting climate change in the U.S. and around the world.” He emphasized that this election holds unprecedented significance, particularly for vulnerable populations.

Melinda French Gates, his ex-wife, has also shown her support for Harris, making an undisclosed donation to her campaign.

While Gates has aligned himself with Harris, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, currently the wealthiest person in the world according to Forbes, has thrown his financial support behind President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign. Musk has reportedly donated about $75 million through his America PAC.

The sizable contributions from these billionaires underscore the high stakes of the upcoming presidential election, where major financial backing could play a pivotal role in shaping the outcome.
