Mayor Eric Adams disclosed that President Joe Biden responded to his urgent requests for assistance with the migrant crisis by telling him to “be a good Democrat.” Adams shared this revelation in a recent interview with Tucker Carlson, highlighting his disappointment in the administration’s lack of action.
Adams described how the influx of illegal immigrants has strained New York City’s resources, with tens of thousands needing long-term support. He explained that many migrants have been in shelters for months without the ability to work, putting additional pressure on taxpayers.
Having been indicted by the Biden DOJ for political crimes, New York Mayor Eric Adams is sounding a lot like a Trump voter these days.

The mayor, currently facing legal challenges following bribery and fraud charges, voiced his frustration with Democratic leadership. He stated that the party has turned its back on working-class communities and ignored their growing concerns over immigration.
During the interview, Carlson questioned Adams on whether the city’s sanctuary status had contributed to the crisis. Adams denied that New York City actively encourages illegal immigration but admitted that policies may need adjustments to better handle the current situation.

A spokesperson for Adams defended his decision to speak with Carlson, stating that the mayor believes open discussions with individuals from different perspectives are necessary to solve the crisis. Adams himself reiterated his commitment to addressing the issue without partisan politics.
In an effort to tackle rising crime, Adams has expressed interest in collaborating with Tom Homan, who has been appointed by President Donald Trump to oversee border enforcement and immigration policies.
