Adam Kinzinger Whines About RFK Jr.’s Jan. 6 Comments

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s comments about Jan. 6 defendants appeared to trigger disgraced former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) on Friday.

Kinzinger infamously betrayed his constituents by repeatedly siding with the Democrats in his vendetta against former President Donald Trump and was subsequently betrayed by his Democrat allies, who essentially redistricted him out of a job. Despite being out of Congress, the RINO’s vendetta against Trump and his supporters has not quite stopped — as he has become a fixture on left-wing news networks as the token “Republican” to agree with Democrats about how dangerous Trump and his supporters are.

In his latest appearance on CNN, Kinzinger attacked Kennedy’s campaign for daring to sympathize with the Jan. 6 defendants — who are being held prisoner in inhumane conditions, several of whom are still being held without trial.

According to NBC News, a fundraising email from “Team Kennedy” stated: “This is the reality that every American Citizen faces — from Ed Snowden, to Julian Assange to the J6 activists sitting in a Washington DJ jail cell stripped of their Constitutional liberties. Please help our campaign call out the illiberal actions of our own government.”

The email has since been disavowed by Kennedy’s campaign, with his press secretary Stefanie Spear telling NBC, “That statement was an error that does not reflect Mr. Kennedy’s views. It was inserted by a new marketing contractor and slipped through the normal approval process.”

Kennedy also spoke up about the email in a statement, where he noted that some of the Jan. 6 protesters “broke the law,” while adding that he was “concerned about the possibility that political objectives motivated the vigor of the prosecution of the J6 defendants, their long sentences, and their harsh treatment.”

On Friday, Kinzinger appeared on “The Source with Kaitlan Collins,” where he claimed that Kennedy was “winking to the MAGA folks” with his fundraising email.

“Look, this is — this is one of the more insane ramblings I’ve heard from him and I’ve heard some insane ramblings,” the former congressman said.

“This is his way of pleasing those that want to hear that he just hasn’t looked at the evidence in detail and winking to the MAGA folks,” Kinzinger claimed.

He then repeated the left’s favorite attack against Kennedy, claiming that his campaign was part of some sort of conspiracy to get Trump reelected — as Democrats are outraged that Kennedy has the potential to pull votes from President Joe Biden.

“His campaign has been hijacked by MAGA. Maybe not ‘hijacked,’ maybe voluntarily. And so, you’re gonna start seeing more and more of this kind of Donald Trump conspiracies, and he’s either going along with it, because that’s gonna help him raise money and get notoriety, or he truly believes it,” Kinzinger said. “Regardless, he’s absolutely wrong, and this is a frightening thing.”

Kinzinger’s comments came despite the fact that Kennedy and his campaign had already disavowed the email, showing that he and his Democrat allies were more concerned with smearing the independent presidential candidate than focusing on the facts.
